A position and pulse shape discriminant p-terphenyl detector module

We present the development of a neutron detector array module made with $\textit{para}$-terphenyl, bright, fast, n/$\gamma$ discriminating crystalline organic scintillator. The is comprised 2 cm $\times$ $\textit{p}$-terphenyl crystals that have been optically coupled together to create $\textit{pseudo-bar}$ module. While only relying on two photo detectors, capable distinguishing interactions between up eight crystals. Furthermore, retains $\textit{p}$-terphenyl's pulse shape discrimination (PSD) capability. Together this makes pseudo-bar promising position-sensitive detector. Here we characteristics - its timing resolution as well and position capabilities, briefly discuss future plans for utilizing an modules in useful system.
